Guest guest Posted December 30, 2007 Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 This time of year, we are bombarded with weight loss ads, try weight watchers- it isn't a diet (yeah right!), have you called yet? Everywhere I look there is info on food and diets, calorie restriction and exercise. Everyone I talk to is starting a diet at the start of the new year. So I got sucked in. Yesterday I started thinking " i can count calories- that would be easy " So what do I do? I ate and ate and ate last night and then today? Restricted, restricted, restricted. Guess what happened tonight at 5pm? Yep- I binged. I am so dissapointed because I had been doing so well with not restricting and even starting to practice mindful eating and I felt good when I was doing it. I just keep getting sucked into these ad's on TV, these promises that if I just lose x amount of weight my life will be perfect! Argh! What do you all do when you get sucked in?
