Guest guest
I completely lost my sense of smell for a year at least due to NasalCrom. An allergist told me I'd be very lucky if it ever came back at all, and he said what happened to me was (then) a common " side effect " of NasalCrom, and also said it shouldn't even be on the market. Eventually, smell gradually did come back, but for a couple years it was very weirdly unreliable. I'd smell things that weren't there, and not smell things that were. And some things smelt like something else entirely. Even that has improved gradually, but it has taken a long, long time. I am really glad to have the heads up about Zicam, as I doubt my sense of smell could take another total wipeout. And being without it was really awful. I was very lucky. sol C.
