Guest guest Posted July 19, 2007 Report Share Posted July 19, 2007 I am just wondering if anyone else suffers from constipation with the pain meds and other stuff we take... For my pain I take Mobic a NSAID, morphine, oxycodone, paracetamol and codeine.. All of course cause constipation.. I eat well and a lot of fibre, and I do have my daily intake of calcium, but I dont overdo it because that just makes the problem worse.. I have to take 4 to 5 Coloxyl a day to stay regular... Does anyone have any hints on anything else I could take? I tried Metamucil (it might be called something else in the US and Overseas) but it is a fibre powder you drink in water... I found I had to take so much that it was getting so expensive.. Thanks in advance for your answers..
