Guest guest
yes, fruity pebbles are currently GF. That, of course, is always subject to change...and as always, beware of cross-contamination potential...but for now they are GF. We eat those and the cocoa pebbles at our house. It's not listed anywhere on my GF foods list but after contacting the company, I believe it is. Am I missing something? There are so few good cold cereals out there & these would be an exciting one to ad to our shelves! FYI, Post cereals are owned by Kraft. Kraft has fantastic product labeling policies. They will disclose if an ingredient has any possible source of hidden gluten. For example: Natural Flavorings (wheat) will be listed in their ingredient listing if wheat is in its natural flavorings or if wheat might be included in its natural flavorings. This has been their policy way before the new allergy labeling guidelines were passed & one of the reasons why I look specifically for Kraft products. Nabisco & Mayer also have the same labeling policies. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. Don't you think Fruity Pebble "rice crispy treats" sound yummy?!?!?! Eagerly waiting for your feedback!
Guest guest
Didn't know that Post was owned by Kraft. Thanks for the info. I love both cerals but am leary about the cross contamination so I haven't had either in over a year. Maybe I'll get brave and try some. Imo, they are VERY sweet, but look really nice. My suggestion would be to try the mixture. > > yes, fruity pebbles are currently GF.
