Guest guest
Terri, Thanks for posting your story, it helped me a great deal considering I'm waiting on my explant surgery. You have given me hope that oneday I will get better and live a normal life. I have my memory back, My muscles don't ache any more than an average person my age, I have my energy back and I am out of the depression blck whole that had me. Thank you to all my sisters here for there continuing support and encouragement. I am here to say you can recover. I didn't believe that I would but I have. I have been off the posts since I started working in April basically holding my tongue and breath. And I can't believe what a miracle has happened I am so much better since going back to work. My therapist told me, ' Maybe instead of waiting to get better to go back to work you will get better if you go back to work" I gave it a chance and she was right, I was afraid I would not be able to do it, But I have and you can too , once your dizzy spells stop and you are not getting lost. give it a try, I started slow and won't let anyone push me to do more until I am ready but I am getting there, And I wanted all of you to know the ladies here know what they are talking about, it is possible to get better, I know it I am proof. It has been a very long road for me and my children, but the good news is finally here, I could use a prayer for my son who just was sworn in to the Marines . He goes off to Bootcamp in October, He will 18 in November. He has been through alot, I really need all of your prayers for his safety at this time and when and if he goes to Iraq. Guest guest
Terri, Thanks for your update! Reports like yours are what give women Hope . . . and when they have Hope, they will do whatever they need to do to get better! I'm thrilled for you! . . . I hope the women who are questioning if it could be their implants that are making them ill will look back at your old posts to see how sick you were, and how you struggled to get well! I'm too tired to put the words together tonight - but please check back tomorrow. . . . I'm putting together a list of Congressmen and women on committees who are very interested in knowing what has happened to us! . . . By taking a few minutes to write a letter, you can make a difference! Hugs, Rogene Peake <peaketeresa@...> wrote: Hi girls it is me Terri P,I wanted to check in and let everyone know an update, I am working 3 days a week now running a 16 screen theatre again as an operations manager. Guest guest
Terri, It's so great to hear from you and hear that you are doing so well these days. I was really worried about you! Just take good care of yourself! Don't forget to support those important glands! You had surgery and I am sure it was hard on your body. I am so glad you are joyful in your new work...just be sure not to overdo it! Do you have a good doctor working with you now? Guest guest
Hi Terri, I'm so glad to hear that you're working and doing well. That's been my experience as well - I was worried I wouldn't be able to work but found it removed me from my illness and I did feel better working. It feels nice to be among the living, and it made me feel like a normal person again. Good for you!!
