Guest guest
Hi Jane, Wow, I can admire your wherewithal on being vegetarian. I'm hoping to be this disciplined. I'm living proof that even a fat fibro girl like me can do it. I never thought I'd get down from where I've been, but with guts and determination I have lost some-want to lose more so badly. Hope I can Claudette Mike & Jane Gagner wrote: Hi, I'm a Fibro dieter to be. This week I've been working on taking my vitamins on a regular basis. This weekend starts the 'diet' of sweets 2 times a week, I'm going to get it down to one time. I was hooked on Starbucks double chocolate chip and am down to 2 a week so that has to change even more. Meantime, I'm working on eating more veggies and fruit. I'm a vegetarian and don't eat any nightshades and I've been on that diet about, oh, 18 years or so. My goal is to eat as much fresh fruits and vegetables as possible and eat 6 small meals a day with sweets only 1 time a week. I did this about 15 years ago with great success. It was for my reactive hypoglycemia and I 'inadvertently' lost 32 pounds the first year. I stabilized after that. Now, I need to lose about twice that much and my ability to walk everyday isn't there yet. Hopefully I'll get there. I was going to do this over a month ago but my heart decided to pull a bad number on me (I'm blaming Fibro for good reason but it's a long story). Now, I'm back to doing the right things for my body. Funny how hard that can be. Good-luck on your side, Jane Subject: Re: Anyone dieting? I am doing a diet (life change). It would be nice to have a support group for fibro dieters.
