Guest guest
, I think the contracture needs to be more severe, but don't quote me on that. I do know that a contracture is cause for insurance coverage...I know that because mine was a Baker IV contracture and insurance paid for mine. It will all depend on the skill of the doctor in knowing how to write a proper proposal to the insurance company. Some doctors know exactly what to say to get it covered. Mine did. Pattylisatucholski <lisatucholski@...> wrote: Ok now one more question, I have no idea if i can get this covered by insurance. My insurance will cover it IF the doctor agrees that this compromising my health so after i heard that i just planned on paying for this out of pocket becauseeit is more important for me to have these out then argue over payment while i possible get sicker. Anyway do you think since i have a level 2 contracture that would benefit me at all with having this covered? My doctor has been saying no its not there for a year now but the second doctor said it was in fact there and i know its there becuase it is getting painful to even wear a bra. I guess this will all depend on the surgeons outlook?> Hi,> I need to get your opinion on something. Guest guest
Hi Traci, Well ironically i can tell him that without lying. i have been telling my original implanting doctor this for a year now and he just keeps saying " no its fine " . Wasent until two weeks ago that i got a second opinion that did verify i have one. It is not what they deem horrible but it does feel extremly heavy, tight and hurts. I feel bad dramatizing the whole thing becuase there are other women that really are far worse then me but i am just so frustrated at this point with doctors and their egos i am willing to tell them anything just to get their attention. Thanks for the advice. > > > > . . . > > > > It's all about pain! . . . Guest guest
Hi , That's exactly how I felt. I've been explanted since July 19th of this year. You are not over-dramatizing anything. This is what we are here for, and that's to give support. Please stay close. Hugs, Traci > > > > > > . . . > > > > > > It's all about pain! . . . Guest guest
Hi Traci, That is wonderfuly. How have you been feeling since getting them removed. We're you very sick with symptoms? Who did they explant? OK enough with the questions > > > > > > > > . . . > > > > > > > > It's all about pain! . . . Guest guest
, When I had my implants out, I had no support group . . . I did a lot of reading . .. and exchanged a lot of information with other women. It makes me sick to think there is a movement underway to deny the public natural products in favor of medically prescribed drugs . . . But there is! We're supposed to conform to some world regulations - written in large part by the pharmaceutical industry! . .. I don't know what we'll do then! My only hope is that, when the feds realize how much more it will cost THEM to deny the public natural treatments that they will change their mind. I'm not down on all drugs . . . There are some incredible meds that save countless lives. . . Those are not likely to be advertised on TV though! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi , Ask me all the questions you like. That's what we are here for. Here are the symptoms and medical problems I have endured the past 19 years: * Uterine cancer = hysterectomy in 1997 – am now 10 years cancer free * Hypothyroidism * Depression * Restless legs * Dry skin * Sleep difficulties * Dry eyes * Brain fog * Weight gain (over 100 pounds) * Clogged milk duct (removed 1998) * Chronic pain in right breast due to Baker's IV grade capsule contracture which turned out to be caused by a ten year old hematoma * Hair loss (and we are talking handfuls here) * And I know there's more, but can't think of it right now I've learned that true beauty isn't about physical appearance, not one little bit. It really comes from within. On July 19th, 2007, I was finally freed of these horrible implants after having them imprisoned in my breasts for 19 years. I was explanted by Dr. Brown a plastic surgeon/reconstruction surgeon at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, Canada. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Guest guest
Hi Traci, Wow that is horrible but i am so glas to hear you are cancer free for so long. It always great to hear good news on sites such as these. I have an appointment with a surgeon on Tuesday. He is not listed on this site but was recommended by a woman on another site that faced the same problems so i am really hoping that he does what he claims. The of cours i hope i can afford him. :)I founf this site after i started noticing minor symptom that i knew were not normal for me. I am so grateful for finding this site becasue now i know what has to be done in order to get past all of this befor it gets worse. There are so many things that could be causing my symptoms but coincidentally they are the same symptoms that these other women started with so ta this point i am not willing to take that chance. I think more them anything right now i just want them out for my own peace of mind but finding a doctor that i really believe will be thorough is very disappointing. I hvae yet to find one that is actually hearing what i tell them. I am gong to a recomstructive surgeon as well since i quickly learned cosmetic surgeons have no interest in whats going on or removing them correctly. > > > > > > > > > > Dear , > > > > > > > > > > Tell them that you can't lie on your front and that you have > > chronic > > > > > pain. Guest guest
Hi Rogene, I was talking to my aunt about all this last night and she is big into herbal or natural vitamins. She has a book that mentioned many of the remedies you have mentioned although I still don't completely know what they are but i have a feeling i will be getting familiar with them soon so I am going to use that book as a guide too if need be to deetox. My aunt agreed that these medications that doctors give out just mask everything but make their wallet get bigger for recommending the prescription drugs. I'm starting to wonder if there are any doctors left out there that became doctors to help people rather then just to get a nice paycheck. > > , > > When I had my implants out, I had no support group . . .
