Guest guest
I was a member of the STTM forum over there and used Val quite often. I had not been on the forum for awhile and jusst found out the changes in the forums there. I had a saliva test in March, it showed me very low in cortisol. My doctor put me on supplements which really helped me alot but when any stress would hit I would plummet backwards which I have done again this week. My new saliva test gave me the following results ( I had my backward slide since the test): 7-8 AM 7 11-noon 6 4-5 PM 4 11-mid 2 Total burden was 19 This was alot better than my first one in march, they were all depressed but the midnite one. This time it is just the morning one that is depressed. Dehydroeplandresterone 4 said it is normal now, was in low reserves last time OH Progesterone 17 (optimal 22-100) Total Salivary SlgA 8 depressed I want to go on coritsol or equivalent so I can get stabilized better. I like my doc but he does not believe the reports stating that hydrocortisone is safe in low doses, will not give it to me. I am going to do some checking to see if an FNP I know will take me on, I will give her my results. What do you suggest? What would you start me on, I trust what you say because I have read too many testimonies from other forums about the results I have been on thyroid for over 30 years, on synthetic until 2002 when I got sensitive to it, started on Armour. But when got my thyroid meds upped last year, I went downhill bad. Thats when I finally found the STTM website and found out the true things. I know my problem is adrenals and thyroid. Here are my new thyroid blood tests also this last month: Free T3 2.9 (2.4-3/9) Free T4 0.5 (o.6-1.2) TSH 0.18 (0.40-5.80) What do you think? Will wait for your return message. Thanks alot Val, I sure appreciate all of this.
