I have used the surgar twin brown sugar and I like it. I made sloppy

joes that call for brown sugar and when I use the sugar twin I or my

husband cannot tell the difference.

I'll second that! The Brown Sugar Twin is just about the worst tasting

sugar substitute that I have ever tried! Had an incredibly awful, bitter

after-taste. Almost as bad as stevia, in my book.

My hey, that's just my opinion :-)

I don't think that there is brown sugar Splenda yet Dee - Sugar Twin has

one, but it's pretty foul.

It's what I use in my praline pecans, too, and they taste great.

do you think it makes a difference if the food you're making it with is a

HOT food? when I've tried it, I was intending to sprinkle it on top of

something but dipped my finger in it and tasted it and thought it was

horrid. perhaps I should have given it more of the old college try ;-) but i

was wondering if maybe that is why i didn't like it at all, because i used

it " alone " and not as an ingredient in something hot.

Just a thought.

I've used it in my carrot/flaxseed muffin recipe and quite enjoyed it. I

used some sprinkled on top of peanut butter cookies before I baked them and

almost couldn't eat the cookies because it tasted so foul to me. I think it

may depend on when it's mixed with stuff.

probably one of those YMMV things for sure!

This could be true, maybe alone it's awful but gives the desired affect

in food. I use it for the pecans, so it's mixed with cream and butter.

I've also put a teaspoon in a shake and it was ok there, too, maybe it

just needs other flavors to be ok.
