I don't have my own washer and dryer in the condo so that's what holds me back. I share a laundry room with 5 other condos. I've never had a problem being able to do laundry when I wanted to except I can't put a load in at night and take it out in the morning. We're not supposed to do laundry after 9 at night or before 7 in the morning. I don't think any of my neighbors would complain if I started earlier but I'm not that early anyway unless it is to go to the pool.

Lazy day

Today has been a complete bust. I have not gotten up to do more than bring the paper in, sort the sections I was planning to read, and they are now lying beside my bed UNREAD. I don't have the energy to hold the sections aloft to read. I keep thinking that after the next nap I will have the energy to maybe at least get up and fix a sandwich or do something.

I have an 8 o'clock appt in the morning for an IV treatment and then a 3:45 appt. with the rheumatologist to get the results of all the tests he ran. Somewhere in between those hours I hope I'll have the energy to do a couple loads of laundry that I sorted on Thursday and still haven't managed to get them washed. Jim will be back on Tuesday afternoon and the place looks like a cyclone hit it. I just haven't had the energy to do any more than take care of my physical needs.

What a rotten day! Is this FMS or CFS?

Yes, there are using a butterfly. I will suggest the lower or upper arm. I think the problem is that since I've had so many blood tests and IV's in the past couple of weeks, mine veins are just saying "ENOUGH!" I've never had any problem before this.

I actually like ironing, it's just that lately I haven't had the strength and endurance to do it. I'm doing ten items today, but still will have a bunch to do.

Very few of the condominiums that were built 30 years ago here had individual laundry rooms. We have 3 laundry rooms for 15 condos/floor...not a bad ratio...and it only costs me the equivalent of 50 cents a load. I can do lots and lots of laundry before I will spend what it would cost to own my own...and I don't mind sharing it except having to carry the stuff back and forth. I use my grocery cart most of the time.
