[ ] Liver Flushes Hi everyone, Regarding liver flushes, a girl from another list that I am on shared this great information. (I believe her doctor was Dr. Sherry .) She also posted information from her polarity therapist, which I will post under Dr. 's instructions for a liver flush. Kind regards, Trudy " When I do my next one, I will simply use my eniro docs flush which is 1/2 ounce lime juice and 1/2 extra virgin olive oil drink daily for one week. The next week, double the amount to an ounce of each daily. By the third week, drink a mixture of 1 1/2 ounces each daily until a tarry stool is passed. This should look darker than normal stool, often black and less formed. This represents gallbladder sludge and the flush is ended when this occurs. This flush can be done without regard to food! Guest guest
Hi Mel, Oh, it sounds like you are off to a good start already. Be sure you let us know the results of your liver cleanse. I'm unable to fast because I am diabetic. The last time I tried Hulda 's cleanse I became very sick. Therefore, I think that Dr. 's alternative is a good one for me. Guest guest
Hi MJH, Nice to hear from you, again! I don't know what the stats are for stones getting stuck in the ducts, but a lady from my health food store (who used to be an MD) told me to take Wild Yam for a week before doing the liver cleanse. I understand that this is to help open the ducts, so the stones don't get stuck. Oh yes, from my studies, a person can also add artichoke, along with milk thistle and dandelion to help aid the liver. (But I'm sure you already know that.) Kind regards, Trudy Message: 2 Date: Mon, 10 Feb 2003 06:41:02 EST From: foxhillers@... Guest guest
Hi , I did about 5 of the liver flushes in a row. I think they are beneficial in general, since I felt really good afterward. The olive oil is not very pleasant, and a lot of people don't like the epsom salts, but I didn't have a problem drinking that. If you choose to do one, I would wait a long time in between them, because I suspect they are hard on the adrenals. It may have happened anyway, but after my last one I came down with bad adrenal symptoms. I had been doing flushes two weeks apart. I don't know if they are suitable for mercury patients, as I didn't know I had mercury tox when I started. Guest guest
Dear Bernadette, I started the cleaning protocol doing chelation therapy first. I've asked s Moritz on Curezone about the fact that this to have been safe or not. He replied saying that he's aware of chelation but he is used to suggest herbs like cilantro and pascalite clay for the same purpose. By logic I would say that probably would have been better to start from the liver and kidney cleanse but even my naturopath was not aware of s liver and kidney procedure as well as at that time I wasn't joining this list....so what should I say....it's done....could be that my liver and kidney are even more clogged with mercury...the only thing I can say is that I got few improvement of my candida status even after chelation. My naturopath said at first that mercury levels in my tissues were extremely dangerous and the intoxication was huge so he wanted me to be chelated. Before starting with chelation we tested kidneys functionality by means of a test called " creatinine clearance " . He understood from the result that my kidneys were well functioning and so we went on with chelation. Same for my husband but with lead in his case. Hope this will help Simona Liver flushes Hi, Does anyone know if liver flushes are safe for someone with mercury toxicity and is chelating with DMSA and using GSE for yeast, both of which are hard on the liver? I also have adrenal problems. Should I wait on the flushes and just do the coffee enemas with a supplement to help my liver? Thanks, Bernadette

I would suggest that you search for " liver flush " on the list oxyplus. It has been discussed there in the last week. The majority view on that list is that liver flushes are great stuff and Hulda 's is the one to use. However there is also a post in the current thread from someone who had EXTREMELY bad results from a liver flush. The list bowel cleanse may also be helpful, I have not read that list in a long while so I can't be sure. This is not meant to say this is " improper " here, I'm just making other suggestions because I'm personally tired of writing about it just now. Oh, and adult-metal-chelation discusses liver cleanses. I've done a few-- I use Schulze's stuff. I'm generally in the " neutral " results area. good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
Hi Moria, Thanks,Moria for the information. I knew people had good results with the flush for candida, but I never knew if anyone with mercury toxicity tried them. I did try it this weekend, using 's recipe. It went very well. The epsom salts weren't that bad, but the olive oil/grapefruit juice I had to choke down. I did have bad nausea in the middle of the night, but it passed quickly, and in the morning passed around 250 stones, as they said. I noticed I felt more energetic and clear headed, although that could be due to the fast as well. All in all, not a bad experience, possible beneficial. I plan to do it again in 3 or 4 weeks, because they say it can take as many as 6 flushes to begin to see results.I am glad I tried it before I saw your response about the really bad reaction, I probably wouldn't have done it. They say you can have a bad reaction if you don't have a colonic or enema after, because the toxic stuff you release can sit in your colon. If I get good (or bad) results, I will post them. thanks, Bernadette > > Has anyone tried liver flushes? Did they help? How did you feel during > the flush? I feel burned out on this topic. I knew people had good results with > the flush for candida, but I never knew if anyone with mercury toxicity > tried them. that is interesting, I don't really associate it as a treatment for candida at all--- but certainly all sorts of people (including w/ candida) have clogged up liver.... > I did try it this weekend, using 's recipe. They say you can > have a bad reaction if you don't have a colonic or enema after, that could be, and that may be a relevant consideration, however, I also think that whenever there is something that people SOMETIMES have bad reactions to, there is a lot of motivation to correlate it to SOMETHING (anything). So I would bet there are numerous theories. I don't know if I'm right, it is just my guess. (There are numerous theories as to why SOME people have bad reactions to IV DMPS, for example, also. The " dose timing " thing is a popular theory on this list, there are other theories.....) because > the toxic stuff you release can sit in your colon. Guest guest
Hi Mandy I can relate to how you feel. I also felt scared about doing it. And you need to know that whereas it doesnt cause any pain, you are unwell for around 24 hours - but hell - we've both had kids and its nothing like that and we both survived. According to the original author who published this 'recipe' for the liver flush (Hulda ), one needs to do 4 - 6 flushes before enough stones are removed to notice a significant health improvement. She says one needs to remove around 2000 stones in all. (most of them are the size of split peas or smaller). There is also speculation as to whether these are really liver/gallstones or just soapstones formed from the oil/lemon juice mixture when they mix with other gut secretions. I couldn't say for certain if I experienced an improvement from doing the flushes - however I have removed a total of about 300 stones altogether - not 2000. I'm also a 48 year old mum with young children. If you do the flush, you need to have 24 hours where you can just lay down and watch videos - thats difficult with kids etc. I started min at 6pm on a Saturday (hence 8 hours was sleep time) and was recovered by 6pm the following night. Helen Liver Flushes Hi, I'm new and have never posted before, but am wondering what kinds of changes you guys have seen from the liver flushes you've done. Do you feel noticeably better? Any obvious physical changes, or just generally better overall? I haven't tried one yet--haven't had the guts!--but am sure I need to. By the way, I'm a 47-yr-old mom with 3 smaller kids, one with autism that I feel sure was caused initially by mold. So I am here doing research, for him, and for the rest of our family as well.
