Should I be concerned??? What is the best thing to do when this happens?? Hi Kathy, It looks like the meds have started working for you. Your fasting bg's are coming down. The shakes were probably caused because your bg's have not been normal for awhile. For some people, 70 is not too low. After your bg's are in the normal range for awhile, you probably won't even notice a 70. However, if you do continue to get shaky, feeling dizzy and it is because of a low number, a good product to have with you at all times is Glucose tablets. You can buy them at any pharmcy. You should eat one or two of them, then test 15-20 minutes later to see if your bg's have gone up. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
I'd suggest eating or drinking something to boost your BS. A small candy bar, perhaps, or about half a can of soda. Re:the Dawn Effect/breakfast/another question Now for another question. Twice this week at about 6:30 PM, as I was getting off the train to head home, I stood up and felt VERY shaky. My legs kind of wobbly and I just felt strange. The first time I rushed home and sat down. It went away after about 30 min. The second time, last night, I checked my BG. It was down to 70. I am on glucatrol. Should I be concerned??? What is the best thing to do when this happens??
