I think I'd be afraid to leave the house for a few days, at least. And, girlfriend, the old rule of things happening in threes seems to have been bent out of shape on YOU. Geez Louise, whaddaya do for an encore? I knew something must be up when we didn't see any posts for a while, but that is beyond the pale. I am so glad you survived it and that your angel was alert and at the ready. That psychiatric patient makes Prednisone rage look tame, huh? Let me know when they get the results of your tests. I'm really glad you got home in 1 piece! The week so far .. HIya hon!I have been having my normal "cant breathe/oh I hurt/I am sick of thisshit" kind of week .. smiles .. running to doctors and labs every day..and Tuesday I had death chasing me all over Orlando!! My guardian angelwas working overtime!Tuesday I left here to go to the psychiatrist's office and when I gotthere I commented to the girl behind the counter, "Your lobby looksdifferent. You guys been redecorating?"She laughed and said, "Not us .. one of our patients went berserk in thelobby this morning and tried to throw the coffee table through thewindow here. He hit the wall instead .. look behind that chair. If youhad been here about half hour ago you could have seen the whole thing!"I looked and there was a hole (big enough to shove a cat through) in thewall from the corner of the coffee table.I leave the doctor office and just as I am pulling out on the sidestreet by his office to go up to University Blvd. WHAM! A truck thatwas ahead of me pulled right out into traffic on University!! Two carshit him at the same time .. there ended up being 5 cars involved. Soafter being rerouted through traffic going away from my house.. Idecided .. I think I will go to the Dollar General store.I parked my van out in the parking lot instead of next to the building.I walked up to the door and just as I put my hand on the glass doorgoing in .. I heard a rumble and car revving behind me. I turned to lookand some man on the inside of the store reached out and pulled me intothe store. The door closed behind me.This Cadillac had jumped the curb, ran through the decorative plantingand stopped just inches away from the front door!! If that man hadn'tpulled me in, I would have gotten squashed. The police had to push thecar away from the doors so people could exit the store .. there was justinches between the bumper and the door .. that is how close the car wasto the door!The car was still running and in REVERSE! .. the cops turned the engineoff .. they don't know what stopped it from slamming into the building.(Thinking back .. I do .. it had to have been my angel!)So I get my little bit of shopping done and figure .. ok .. time to gohome as the sky was as dark as 8 pm and it was only about 3:30! On theway home, I saw a Mobil station and thought .. Speedpass.. get gas.. soI stopped in there. I am almost finished pumping my gas when lightninghit a pine tree across the street from the Mobil.It was so close it made the hair on my arms stand up and scared theliving daylights out of me. It was so bright, the street lights that hadcome on because it was so dark .. turned off! All I could think of was.. cut off the pump .. static electricity .. don't get blown up!By this time, I figure .. ok .. just get the hell home!! And decide totake a back road home rather than fighting traffic on 436 in the rain.On the way home, I had the turn signal at the light, and a car ran thered light .. dang near hit me .. I slammed on the brakes .. everythingslid to the front of the van .. and he ran over the curb .. taking out astop sign trying to avoid hitting me and never stopped!I was never so glad to get home .. man .. I was beginning to feel likedeath was following me. It was just too weird!Wednesday didn't start out too good either .. my cardiologist called me(the doc! not the nurse) and told me he wanted me in his office NOW if Icould get there. Seems the blood work they did showed my C-reactiveprotein was higher than anything he had ever seen. He wanted more bloodwork and another EKG and chest xray.I get over there within half an hour and the nurses are going crazytrying to find him. Seems he didn't tell THEM that I would be comingright in .. so they wouldn't get anything started until they could findmy chart. After 20 min. I told them, haven't you gotten hold of him yet?Seems the man had left to go to the hospital to perform surgery and theystill couldn't find my file. I told them .. if he left that fast then myfile must still be in his office .. BINGO!So .. I am awaiting news on just what the heck is going on with my heart.. I mean .. criminitly trigger .. if I wasn't on the verge of having my4th heart attack .. I am now!!!
