This post really rang bells for me. First off, I tried telling my doc once that

my adrenal glands were sore and he said " you cannot possibly feel your adrenal

glands? " Secondly, we've got Kombucha brewing all over this house right now in

lots of different containers. My beau is quite into it as well.

A friend of mine who does craniosacral therapy gave us a mushroom. It is

supposed to be excellent stuff and I am sticking with it. I ferment mine with

green tea because I'm a type O blood and according to Dr. D'Adamo, black tea is

on my avoid list.

Thanks for verifying that I'm not a QUACK when I think I can feel my adrenal

glands.

Val,

A friend brought me some drink called Kombucha (it's all over the

internet)........ for my digestive problems ..... like a dummy I drank

a whole bottle yesterday......had " adrenal pain " within 1/2 hour of

drinking it (wasn't anywhere near close to the next HC dose)... and

woke up today with fatigue, sinus congestion... etc....

I know it's a chelator and clears liver congestion......... is that

why it seems to have stressed my adrenals?? BTW, I always know the

adrenals are stressed when they hurt!!!

Thanks.

Hi ,

This stuff could have just made you sick. Or if could have caused some

sort of food allergy response in you. For example, I do not digest

dairy well, although I do okay with moderate amounts, especially raw.

If I eat too much, though, I get congested, etc.

I would give this a day or 2 and rest and see how you feel before

stress dosing. Give your adrenals a chance to work. If you have been on

HC, you should be building some reserves. If you get worse, post back.

It could be that it had some caffeine or teine (whichever it is) in it

which stimulated your adrenals.

I suspect that, since it supposedly chelates mercury, I drank too

much, too fast. I just have so much food-related bloating, that I am

searching for some type of fermented drink to sip on during the day.

I just added fermented salsa, but the HCI I take works better than

anything else.

Thanks Kathleen.

Kathleen,

I noticed that I got so much tummy bloating today after eating a

smoothie with raw-milk yogurt, bananas and blueberries. I was

surprised since I used raw milk to make it!! Have you had this problem?

I was also told by many, many doctors that you can't " feel your

adrenals " . But a few weeks after starting HC, NO MORE PAIN!! I lived

with this pain for 2 years and when my husband would push in that

area, it was very tender!!

Now, when I'm under stress, it hurts in that exact same spot and when

I stress dose... the pain goes away!! I even had one doctor tell me

the pain was all in my head!!! Ha! Ha! I got the last laugh on him!!

No, I haven't had this problem, but some people cannot tolerate even

raw milk. Was is goat or cow?

But in regard to your last post on this thread, the digestive enzymes

should help a lot. Try to get ones that break down carbs and fats,

too, not just HCL for protein, although that's very important, too. A

lot of people have troubles with fibers, which may have caused your

bloating today, too, from the fruit, not the milk. I'm not sure.

If you're trying to balance your intestinal flora, I really love

Jarrow's EPS. I had problems in the past with lots of yeast

infeftions and just itching in general and this one really helped.

It's enteric coated so the probiotics can actually make it to your

intestines and colonize.

I hope you're feeling better!
