Guest guest Posted August 7, 2002 Report Share Posted August 7, 2002 Hi there. So, finally had an internal (ouch - I'm glad my docs haven't done them till now!)... My cervix is slightly soft, but that's it. It's still long and closed. She also said it's to the right - which surprised me. But, that's where the baby is implanted. The midwife who saw me said she expected that - and this doesn't mean much. Things could change in a few weeks or a few hours. She told me to get lots of exercise (lol! I can barely walk) and have lots of sex (how does one DO that when you're this big?). I don't know what I was expecting, but I have to say I'm disappointed that she didn't say - this baby is coming - go to the hospital! So, now I'm changing my mindset.
