When I first started with IE and legalizing, I went on sugar overload

as well. Whatever high sugar cereals I could find, brownies, cake,

ice cream. Needless to say I went to bed feeling ill most days of the

week! I haven't had ice cream or cake or brownies in over a month and

get this, the other day I made a special trip to the grocery store

because I had the strongest craving for SALAD! And today I got so

excited because I saw these little bags of veggies at Target and

bought 3 of them. I find myself wanting red peppers, carrots,

broccoli, etc. more often than anything. And thinking back to my

pre-dieting/eating disorder days, this is exactly how I was! I would

load up on vegetables and have a big bowl of pre-cut fruit in the

fridge to snack on. That was what I wanted to eat! At the same time,

I never turned down a nice chunk of birthday cake (provided it wasn't

chocolate...I hate chocolate cake) and always had to have a milk

chocolate bordeaux egg from See's Candies at Easter time. It really

was all about balance.
