Guest guest
Congrats Heleen! THAT IS SO GREAT!!!!!!! yay yayayayayayay! Happy day for you! You can call the doc and get a blood test or a more sensitive urine test, too. they say even " very faint " is positive. We MAY BE preggo buddies! I tested this a.m. too--when I woke up at 3:30 with a screaming bladder (like a pea, I never hold it all night long!) Today is 11 dpo. I didn't think it would turn, because my husband the engineer said " ok, if your beta was, let's say, 4 on friday, then by Sunday morning it'd be around 16, and by Monday morning probably around 24 and by Tuesday morning maybe 32-ish. Then, if urine is less than blood, you probably won't turn a test that picks up 25 until AT LEAST Tuesday, if not Wednesday or Thursday. So you needn't bother testing " Har har. Good logic, hon, but logic doens't apply to a woman and her pee sticks! Besides, my temps went (I think) triphasic yesterday! Who can reason with me after THAT?? Anywhoo, I got this amazingly faint line. So faint, to really see it well, I had to get the strong light on and really squint. I mean really squint. So I'm not going to say it was positive, just that it looks PROMISING! The funny thing is, I tested on friday too, the day I got a negative Beta blood test? And I kept that test over the weekend, to compare " evaporation lines " (this is a CVS test, NOT made by the Inverness company!). That 3 day old test window still looks as white as newfallen snow. After 3 hours, on the test stick I used this morning, the squint-not-quite-there line had gotten just the teensiest bit darker, so I could just squint to see it, not super squint. I'm so excited--I can't say 100% for sure, but I'm at least 90% sure I'm prg! Come on baby, make it past the end of the luteal phase....think clinical prg,......think clinical prg...... come on baby kick out some hCG for mommy!!!! LOL! Jill SU, 1.5 cm, hoping she conceived! My line is definately there, I can't believe it. I just never thought I'd get pregnant, I really didn't. Lets just hope we make it though the first 12 weeks, let alone the luteal phase.
