Guest guest
Rita, If I can manage to get to Berkeley Springs in April, I'm interested in a New York gathering. Olson is still in rehab and starts radiation Feb 17th, so it's going to be a long road for him to get back home. I do have reservations for Berkeley Springs, tho. Guest guest
Rita, Ronnie started the Spring Fling in Berkeley Springs 2 yrs ago. Olson and I went and met Don and Betty Jo from NC, Joe Alberstat from PA and there was even one lady there from ILLINOIS. We had the morning together on Sat, lunch at the lodge we met in and dinner in Hancock, MD, just a few miles away. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone but couldn't go last year because of a family wedding the same weekend. Berkeley Springs is about 2 1/2 hrs from Glen Burnie, MD, where we live and we go up there for vacations all the time. It's in the pan handle of West Virginia, and about 35 miles from Hagerstown, MD and 20 miles from sburg, WV. Interstate 81 runs right past sburg but if you drove, you'd go 81 to Interstate 70 and travel west to Hancock, hang a left on US 522 and you're there!! (522 is the straightest road in WV!!) Are you considering coming down? That would be super. Talk to you later, Vivian
Guest guest
Cookie: You made me wonder, if Gladi is covered by Medicare hmmmm!!! All her parts are 100% fully guaranteed, so I really don't have to worry. But after spending all that $$$ to have all this work done, and now this. I got to her her all spruced up for her trip to NY. Oh by the way, my neurologist charges $84.00 for a visit, and I only see him once a year, so that really isn't to bad. The darn gas is running into big bucks, woe is me. Guest guest
Rita, Don't you feel good when a warranty actually works!!? Glad you were able to get it done so soon. Take care. Blessings, Vivian
Guest guest
Hi Cookie: Well we just got home from the doctor's with Gladi, and the good news is it's nothing serious. The new Ricon armature that swings one of her doors shut was faulty and caused a short circuit, which caused the doors not to open. So we called Ricon it's fully under warranty, and they are shipping the new part out UPS today, and she will have her new part on Wednesday. I know every one was concerned (LOL), but it's looking good. Rita Luv & Hugs! ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them. Guest guest
Vivian: Yes I do, but I feel bad for Mark (the man who installed it. He spent almost two hours trying to find out what the problem was, and now he has to spend 4 more hours installing the new one. Thats all his time and it doesn't cast me a penny.
