Guest guest
A couple of days ago, I questioned whether some fresh fruit had given me a reaction. But it wasn't the fruit. It was Pop-Secret Popcorn which I've had many times before and it never bothered me--- so I did not suspect it. It is very frustrating when products are not labeled properly or when they are contaminated. OTOH, at least I finally know what it was. Guest guest
How do you know it was the popcorn? Many people eat that and don't have reactions. Was it a specific "flavor?" Guest guest
I know it was the popcorn because I didn't have anything else to eat and I react fairly quickly. It was the one with extra butter (on sale) and that is not the " flavor " I usually get. Like I said, I've been eating Pop-Secret for some time without reactions but now it's off my list. After getting sick three times (blamed it on the fruit the first two times), I can say quite reliably that it was indeed the popcorn. Caveat emptor. I recommend avoiding the " Extra Butter " flavor completely and being very cautious with the others. But I, personally, won't take another chance with the brand given that the label had absolutely nothing with gluten. > How do you know it was the popcorn? Guest guest
I received confirmation from Pop Secret that all of their flavours are GF. There shouldn't be a c/c issue with them, then. We all eat it (too much!) and we're fine! If I were you, I'd check other sources....lipstick, lotions, etc....the gluten is probably hiding somewhere else that you aren't expecting.
