Hi Aspaysia and Happy Birthday!

Regarding your question: I have lots of folk art on my walls made by

my friend Shari Elf. It is wonderful, sparkly and so uplifting. Here

is her site if anyone is interested: http://www.sharielf.com - I'm

sorry I don't want that to be spam-like...She is marvelously talented

and I think some of you might enjoy her site because her work is so

happy and her site is joyful...so if you need a lift.... (go to the

gallery link to see her wonderful trash art collages ;)

About your second question: I presently read a lot of books about

cancer. Many more so than when I was actually in the active stages of

treatment. I'm not sure why I do this, but I am fascinated by all

sorts of survivor stories, death and dying stories, cancer nutrition

books...anything.

My question for the group: would anyone find it useful or interesting

to have a compilation of " cancer book " book reviews? I was thinking,

since I read so many, of writing book reviews for the library at my

cancer center (where I check out all of my books). Then I thought it

might be a good idea to put something like that online so other people

could have access. Is this an idea that would appeal to people?

Thanks all for your input and Happy Holidays!

Sounds interesting to me! I started a new folder in the FILES

section of this Board (go to the bar on the left side of the CCS

Messages page which says " Home..Messages..Pending...Post Chat..Files

and click on FILES. Alternatively, go to

http://tinyurl.com/26xm2

Which is the same as

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/colon_cancer_support/files/Book%

20Reviews/

You can upload any Text/HTML files you like here! To add a new file,

just click on " Add File " and follow the directions.

Best Wishes,
