Troube getting into Christmas Spirit

This isn't really IE related, but I was wondering if anyone else out

there is feeling Ba-Humbugish and having trouble getting into the

Christmas spirit (or should I say Holiday Spirit?) I am Christian

and really work on focusing on what Christmas is really all about.

Normally I ablsolutely love Christmas - The music, the lights, the

hustle and bustle, etx. But this morning my Christmas tree stand

broke, thus came crashing down our christmas tree! I am tired! I'm

Pissed! and I am frustrated! And I really just am ready to not do

Christmas this year at all! Part of it is the fact that my son is

14 (Christmas was so much fun when he was little) and it just seems

like it's all about him and what he wants. I keep talking with him

about what Christmas really is all about and we do alot with our

church that gives to others. I just so hate this selfish, teenage

stage. It also doesn't help that my work enviornment doesn't do

anything for the holidays. We aren't even having a christmas party

this year because the owner is expanding the business and doesn't

have the money do throw one. I told him he didn't have to spend a

lot of money, that we could do a potluck, but it isn't happening.

Anyway just had to vent and wanted to see if anyone else was

struggeling with getting into the season.
