Re: Candida Diagnosis

That's a good question. I have not been to a doctor

to test for candida. However, I had been having

frequent yeast infections, was tired all the time, and

had this pain near my pelvic bone that would not go

away. After that I started researching information on

candida and figured I must have it. When I eat a lot

of sugar and sometimes dairy I get a yeast infection

so I figured that these were symptoms of candiasis.

If you are near Boston I can recommend a doctor. She is great! I

moved recently and can't find anyone like her.

-Bindi, my friend who is the patient that the famous candida dr wrote

about in his book emailed me with this recipe she swears works every

time, make a douche out of sage, rosemary and thyme (boil a cup of

water and strain into), and use several times a day. This woman knows

everything there is to know about this so I am going to try it. Nan

This sounds good. I don't think I have an issue but I would like to try it to be preventative. Do you know if they sell disposable douche bottles or do you think I should buy a regular one and empty it out?

Thanks for the advice!!

Nan,

Thanks for the recipe! I have all those herbs in the garden, so I'm set. The doctor wanted to give me a heavy duty drug to knock it out, but I'd rather try alternatives first.

Bindi, Another easy and natural therapy is to use a tea tree oil douche. You make a one percent solution. I think it works out to 1 tsp of tea tree oil to 2 cups of water. It works fast, it is effective, and you feel really, really clean down there! Pattyfreebindi <bindi@...> wrote: Nan, Thanks for the recipe! I have all those herbs in the garden, so I'm set.
