Guest guest
Interesting... My calcium is fine now but was high due to a parathyroid adenoma. When I was diagnosed in Houston Dr. Appel said that parathyroid tumors were associated with PLS but he hedged when I asked about the connection. Guest guest
My daughter works for dentists who believe that mercury is a toxic substance and all mercury should be removed from teeth. Raine This is sent with Love
Guest guest
I don't know anything about the calcium but one doctor I had, a Doctor of Ostepathy, tells people that mercury in tooth fillings has an impact on your overall health. Guest guest
Lavon, What is Parathyroid Adenoma? I have Hypothyroid does this pertain to PLS in some way? Could this be the reason I have different things that happen to me that you all do not have or am I just the odd one in the bunch? Right now I am having trouble with the leg I hurt and broke the nerve in. I started my exercise back and I had to stop again because one of them is making the leg act up again. I think I know which one and when I start back with exercise I will discard that one. I just can not stand to pull my panties or long pants up over my rear end. It is like some one has sand paper and rubbing it on me. It will almost take me down to the floor. has to hold me when I pull up my pants. This is so odd. I had the pain in my legs when I started PLS and numbness. Now that is gone. Jane Anne King Re: low calcium i understand, but high? Interesting... Guest guest
A parathyroid adenoma is a benign parathyroid tumor that causes the bones to release calcium. It is not related to thyroid problems. Dr. Appel did say thyroid problems were related to ALS but again didn't explain or direct my inquiries. Lavon Lavon, What is Parathyroid Adenoma?
