Guest guest
Trish, re: your question on fish oil. I take either fish oil or flaxseed oil but don't know if it helps the afib. It should help the general health of your heart though. My PCP says the only supplement he takes is fish oil and thinks everyone should take it. He takes Salmon oil only because of his concern about Mercury content in other fish oils. Guy
Guest guest
I am wondering about this product someone mentioned, Eye Q Fish Oil. I once tried fish oil but it was a different brand, something of a pudding texture that had been flavored orange... forget what that stuff was called... anyway, the phenol problem was huge because of the coloring and flavoring. I feed them fish about once a week, but I've never found another good way to give fish oil daily - he swallows small pills now, but the fish oil capsules I've seen are huge. And he does NOT take liquid meds well, especially ones that taste that bad. The orange pudding stuff went down fine for him years ago but again, too bad of a reaction. Who else gives fish oil and how? What is legal? Are Omega 3's the same thing or similar, because the eggs I buy are loaded with extra Omega 3's and he eats eggs once a day. Just wondering on this, I know the research on fish oil is promising. Thanks, in NC Mom of Luke, age 5, Asperger's/low-salicylate; , age 3; and , 23 mos All SCD since 1/26/

I have found out that MorEPA smart fats has a higher EPA of 535mg than eye q at 186mg per capsule. This might be to big a dose for your children but i found a big improvement with my son aged 10 on cf/gf and SCD for now over a fortnight. I was warned it may cause the runs, but never happened. I put it in his fruit salad or drink, but was told not to give same time as probiotics. His tention span is better and sleeps better and even showing a big interest in the potting training. As far as i know its legal. Was recommended by my dan doctor. www.healthyandessential.com hope this helps
