Guest guest
WOW congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Licienne I am so happy I found this group I am so happy I found this group. It seems that everyone is in the same boat. I started the SB diet on the 3rd, at 372Lbs, and am proud to say I am down 27Lbs as of this morning. I have 95Lbs to go. My first goal is to fit my old work cloths, and I think I am on my way.I know I shouldn't, but I weigh myself every morning, and keep an excel spread sheet to track my weight. My wife is also on it, and since she started her blood sugar has stayed in check. between 95 and 150. before we started it was in the 210 range or higher. She is not loosing the weight as fast as I am, but it is coming off. I think she is around the 15Lb mark so far, but is very excited about her sugar. This support group is outstanding. seems everyone is VERY helpful, and I am glad to be here. I may not write a lot, but I guarantee I will be reading every message sent in. If anyone wants the spread sheet I have, let me know and I will get it to you. I found it on the internet, and modified it for me, but anyone can use it.Thanks MarkReminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats.
