Guest guest
Hi, Could someone help clear up the question I have about sugar in several foods? I have never seen a sugar free cream cheese or cottage cheese and they are in so many recipes. The ones I've seen usually have 1-2 grams of sugars per serving. Are these OK? Guest guest
There is a difference between natural sugars and added sugars. As long as the ingredients don't contain added sugars, it's probably just the sugars from the lactose. Carbohydrates on the labels get subdivided into sugars, starches, and fiber. Just find a product without added sugars and make sure you count your carbs! If you eat something that makes you hungry later or starts cravings, it may be a trigger food for you and should be avoided - always pay attention to your body Kirstie
