Hi ,

I've been thinking about you and I know your surgery

is coming up next Wednesday. I am so excited for you!

You'll be so happy.

Don't let my experience scare you. My problems stem

from the 10 year old hematoma. Even though I had the

complications I still consider myself a very lucky

girl. The infection was caught in time, I got to

surgery and am on the antibiotics and am getting

better.

I am so glad I'm explanted.

I'm sending you hugs & prayers.

Thanks Rogene,

It's been a tough battle but I think I'm getting

there. I see my surgeon today to get my drain

assessed. I also find out when I can go back to work.

I'm just fighting at the moment that the infection

will come back. I don't want another setback like I

had. It spooks me every now and then but I'm

fighting.

Girl I can't believe you are still going through all

this with the drain:( I hope the infection is gone and

that you're not having pain. You are strong and will

get through this!!! I hope that life can return to

normal for you and your family soon.

Katy, Thank you so much! I do journal and have prayer and meditation time. I have a God box that I put prayer request and my worries into. I can't wait until I wake up from surgery ! My new life will begin. First is healing and then I want to concentrate on taking better care of myself. Healthier living is what I want. Dede, Thanks sweetie, I love you!!! Reading this made me cry because I'm trying so hard to be positive. I do positive affirmation thinking everytime I lay down to rest, it's how I go to sleep. I began doing this almost 8 years ago when I joined AA. I'm sick again, this time with a cold. I'm wondering if my weak and sickly state has anything to do with the anxiety about the surgery. I also have alot on my plate which is adding extra stress right now. I hope Wednesday comes soon. Time seems to be standing still lately.
