Guest guest
During December, January and part of February I had a headache, one long headache, or so it seemed at the time. I had a headache every day and often couldn't get rid of it. I also get different types of headaches like migraines, sinus and tension. What this headache was per say I don't know but nothing would make it go away. With the exception of a couple of migraines and tension headaches (those go away with Ibuprofen), I haven't had that headache since. I am guessing I'll go through this again at some point and again, and again...I don't know. My hormones seem to be balanced well enough I think...I am menopausal... so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I call it Fibro headaches (no imagination here, eh?). I've had this happen before but this was my longest stretch to date. I'm hoping it's my longest stretch ever. I don't know how to make this kind of headache to go totally away. Ibuprofen would help sometimes for a little while but not completely and it would come back. I wish I had an answer for you too but I haven't found one yet. As is often said, have it checked out. My sister had a headache that wouldn't go away and got so bad she went to the doctor. Now, mind you, she was taking coumadin to thin her blood due to a clot. She ended up with bi-lateral subdural hematomas. It was awful but they got them in time and she didn't suffer any brain damage. So, definitely have a doctor check you out...just in case since it could be caused by a number of things...or it could just be Fibro. There are times when I wish things weren't Fibro so I could actually get help and get the problem solved instead of just having to live with it.
