I don't know if this will help or not, but it's worth a shot. Go to

Start>settings>folder options and then click on the file types tab. If the

" show hidden files " is not checked, check it. That SHOULD unhide your files.

As far as you 6 out of 35 files, I don't know what to tell you except to

check every now and then and make sure they are there. Sorry I couldn't be

more help.. hope this solves your problem at least partially.
