Guest guest
Good for you Shirls for letting them know the problem....I am very good about going into a store and telling them that handicapped spaces are taken by vehicles with no stickers....I also fuss to managers about putting the handicapped spaces out away from the buildings and leaving the close spaces for others.....I just get angry about some of the ways handicapped people are treated at times..... ------------------------------------------------------------------ [NASH Group Website]http://www.geocities.com/liver_nash/ Subscribe: NASH-Non-Alcoholic-Steatohepatitis-subscribe Unsubscribe: NASH-Non-Alcoholic-Steatohepatitis-unsubscribe List owner: NASH-Non-Alcoholic-Steatohepatitis-owner letter to White River State Park about Handicap accessibility Hi there. I just wanted to let you know we enjoyed Taste of Indiana. But there is a slight problem for people in wheelchairs. I was not able to get to the actual food places that were off of the sidewalks. My husband was pushing me but the ride was just too rough for me. I was in the last stages of a Multiple Sclerosis flare so I was very weak. The roughness was too hard on me. I just wanted to get out and enjoy a nice night. I did enjoy it, don't get me wrong, but I had to sit by myself while my husband got my food. I didn't get to read all of the food choices. Also, there was no handicap parking close. We had to park at Victory Field. Again, I had to wait by myself. I was let off at the main Park entrance and my husband had to park the vehicle. Some more handicap accessibility needs to be figured out before us handicappers can really get full use of the White River State Park. Thank you for listening,Shirley ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
