The cholesterol levels being awry are symptomatic of thyroid disease.

The levels for the TSH are the older levels.Wish you could have the Free T3

and Free T4 done, they are better indicators.

Please refresh my memory...

Did they diagnose Hashimoto's?What dosage are you on? How do you take it?

How do you feel?----That's bottom line!

Excellent on the A1C!!!!!!!

Your liver functioning looks good as well as it seems the other levels than

cholesterol.

Look on your original lab sheet and see if your Absolute Lymphocytes are

maybe a misprint on this copy that you sent us. I'm thinking that maybe

there should be a decimal point in your own value or something? If not,

that is awfully high. You won't know whether you're hypo until they

actually test the thyroid hormones, not the TSH. Being as you say that you

eat " clean " , though I don't know what type of diet you are on, it is well

known that hypo causes high blood cholesterol.

Hi everyone, thanks for the input. I am hypothyroid and have been for about

3 years I think. I am now taking Armour 90 Mg (1 1/2 grains) (only for

about 1 month though). I still get tired but I am feeling better. I just

had an ACTH Stim test and got a phone call from the doctors office that it

is " normal " . My fasting level before the Stim was 9. something but when I

was stimmed it went way up. The magic number to tell if you have 's

is 20 or less after Stim. So I asked for a copy to be mailed to me. I

wonder what a NMD would think of the test and the results.

I cannot remember who asked this but my Absolute Lymphocyte 104-(.6-5.5)

was a typo it should be 1.4 which is normal.

Does anyone know if Red Rice Yeast will help cholesterol if it is caused by

being Hypothyroid? I have a few friends who have had really good success

with it but they are not hypo or do not have thyroid disease.

Thanks again. have a good day.

Where is Topper??????????/ Too quiet I hope you are fine Topper!

It was me who asked about this part of your blood counts, lol, I thought it

was a typo. I just couldn't see it being that high, or something would be

severely wrong with you, as well as hypo. Red Yeast Rice--I've heard all

kinds of good things about it, and it is a highly volatile sbjct right now

because the pharmaceutical companies that make one of those cholesterol

drugs are trying to get it taken off the market. You may ask WHY! Well,

the reason is that one of them is using the ingredient in it in one of their

phony dangerous cholesterol lowering drugs, and they can't patent the

natural substance, so why not have it taken off the market, so that people

will buy THEIR crap, instead of using a safe natural way to lower their

cholesterol? I've never taken it myself, but, as said, I've heard that it

works.

T4, free 1.11 ng/dL (0.61 - 1.76)

TSH 1.570 uIU/mL (0.450 - 4.500)

Triiodothyronine, free 2.7 pg/mL (2.3 - 4.2)

VERY hypothyroid and very kiekly to have RT3 issues. the FT4 isnot horribly low

as 1.4 would be perfect. ut the FT3 is extremely low indicating a conversion

issue. When T4 is not converting to T3 it si converting to RT3.
