The Xylitol mentioned in this article is absolutely lethal to dogs, and

maybe other pets also.

I don't recall if it was this or another blindness related list which

recently had a small thread on this threat to dogs. A simple google using

the name and dogs will return news stories about this. Any considered use

of it should take this into account.
