I thought it was pretty high too but this includes two crowns which are close to $3000 of the cost alone. Wow, your gum surgery was costly! But you are right to say it is an investment in my future.

They are still using amalgum fillings!! (not in that office but others) I am so happy I am a member of this board or I would have never thought twice about my fillings. I have had them since I grew adult teeth. It will be nice feel better after getting them removed and it will be really nice to enjoy pretty teeth. Right now I have a mouth full of metal!

The dentist also said it is not good that I have a amalgam filled tooth with a gold crown. He said those two types of metals should not be in constant touch with each other. Geez, I have had that crown for like 10 years now.

Oh, well. Nothing I can do about the past. I need to move on and get them cleaned out. Maybe some of my headaches will go away. I lived on Advil for so many years.

That's sticker shock, isn't it?

But compared to the cost of the gum surgery I needed, in only two visits, it's a deal! . . . It cost right at $5000 too!

You have a lot of work to be done . . . but it will be a good investment in your future!

As far as I know, they're still putting amalgum fillings in, aren't they?Disgusting!

I've lost my tolerance for traffic since moving to Arkansas from DFW! . . . over the weekend I was in traffic every day. . . I'm still carrying stress in my neck and shoulders!
