Hi Everyone,

I wanted to say Thank You to everyone that replied to my

newbie post last week. I tried to reply to everyone personally,

please forgive me if I missed you. It was really amazing hearing

from so many people that not only understand what you are going

thru but have been down that road before you. I truly appreciated

everyone sharing their own stories with me as it made be feel

not so alone in this battle.

I also wanted to ask a couple of questions. I have a numb place

in my face off and on. It is really bothersome. It seems to get

worse with stress. Is there anything that has helped anyone with this

Also my cough headaches seem to come and go?? They were happening

so often before the wreck I had in April of 2000, they then worsened

and the Dr I was seeing put me on Celebrex(an anti-inflammatory) and

my GP put me on Claratin for sinus problems and they seemed to

almost go away. But now they are back with a vengence, every time

I bend over or lift the baby etc etc... Is this common for them to

go away and then come back worse?? It also has a numbing effect

that happens with them, it travels through my face and makes my

tongue and mouth numb too. I had my first migrain like headache

a couple of days ago, I took a Fioricet and it didn't even touch

it I just had to go to bed and wait it out, lasted about 3 hours.

Last, I am flying to see Dr Batzdorf on May 1st. I am concerned

about having the surgery there and then having to travel home. Can

anyone give me any tips on how to do this the most pain free way.

Can anyone share how they managed after the surgery and then

having to travel to get home?? I am sorry this is so long, I have

no one local to ask here, my neurologist is a jerk and has not

offered to see me after the diagnosis, he just sent me to a NSG.

And my GP just shakes his head at me, he is a confused as I am.
