How long are you able to > exercise? I used to exercise for 50 minutes and feel great when I was done. Now, I still do it for about that much time. I do stop every 15 min and catch my breath, and grab some water. I did exercise fairly strenuously that morning. I guess I should've asked the Dr. about it, but my guess would be he wouldn't had said it mattered. I didn't think about it til I was on the way to the lab, that maybe that could affect it. My test was done about 1 to 1 1/2 hours after exercising.
Guest guest
DHEA is one part of what is put out by the adrenals.. it's a precursor to the sex hormones... it's not what's involved with the adrenal fatigue issues resulting from under/un-treated thyroid and stress.... A lot of folks use different adrenal hormones under different brand names.. I can't really speak for any of them, since I've not tried any. My choice was to use a whole glandular to allow my body to choose what it needs... again.. it's very much a personal choice. Many docs won't even test for adrenal fatigue let alone prescribe for it.... So let others comment that have had first had experience with working with doctors as it relates to adrenal testing and supplementation. Guest guest
Hi , With my not knowing what blood workups you have had in the recent past these are what I would be asking for, test wise: 24 hour siliva Adrenal test Free T3 (Triiodothyronine) Free T4 (Thyroxine) TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Thyroglobulin Antibodies Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies Ferritin Master Chemistry Vitamin B12 w/folic acid TIBC Total Cholesterol HDL, LDL, and Ratios Triglycerides Glucose(Diabetes) Kidney, Liver, and Heart Functions Potassium Calcium Uric Acid, Electrolytes Iron PLUS a CBC (Complete Blood Count) From these siliva and blood tests you and your doctor may see something that is slightly off kilter, or not.... If you wish, please feel free to post the results of these blood tests along with the lab ranges and some of us will add our two bits to the interpretations of these blood test results. For now, I would not change anything in your med treatment schedule. Let your body adjust to its level of meds, have the tests run, and then go from there. Someone had told me there was. My levels had been quite high, and are now in the very low end.
