maria,

Please be careful regarding the gas leak!!! That can be so dangerous.

My Mom knew exactly what I needed...and I need to remember her advise

more. We tend to get so caught up in controling things that we tend

to forget our trust in Him.

Elle and Joanne,

I have a friend who choose not to know the sex of the baby. They asked the

doctor to write it down and seal the envelope. They had already selected

baby items for both a boy and girl. They gave the envelope to someone in

the store, who made the appropriate bedding set.

Hi Elle,

Thanks for the explanation! Both and I were tested before starting

IVF, but I'll double check with my doctor to be sure they looked at our

blood types for RH negativity.

I was a little confused there. Sorry :) How do you like living there as

compared to TX? Our next family trip when RJ gets a little older is going to

be to San . We hear that it is wonderful.

I think it is a great idea to have the holidays at home. Especially the

first year of a babies life. All that running around can really get them off

kilter.

,

I'm sure you are not RH-. You would have had to have the RhoGam with

your mc and ep, but it's always best to double check just in case!

Joanne,

Texas is home and we really love and miss it, but this has been a

wonderful experience. I believe Mark and I have both grown, together

and individually. We have a much greater appreciation for the

freedoms and luxeries of the States. Unfortunately, things we all

take for granted in the States, truly are luxeries. I will always

feel blessed for the opportunity we have had here.

San is a wonderful place!!! The people are so friendly and

for a big city, it still has a small town flavor to it. There is so

much to do and see in and around San . Austin is only about a

one hour drive and it is gorgeous too! Between San and Austin

is the Texas Hill Country, which is breathtakingly beautiful! I would

not suggest going in the summer, unless you are used to extreme heat.

It is not uncommon for the days to be 110 degrees. My favorite times

are Spring, especially when the bluebonnets and indian paint brush

flowers have bloomed. Talk about gorgeous! My other favorite time is

Fall. When you get ready to go, please feel free to ask any other

questions you may have, or if you need suggestions, I'll be happy to

point you in the right direction.

Elle,

Hi. I am so glad to hear all is going well.

many people tell me that there is that moment in delivery when the

Dr.

> says, " It's a _______! " that they wouldn't trade for anything.

Plus,

> it's really the only time the spotlight is on DH during the pg. He

> gets to run out and make the announcement to everyone.

Thanks, I never even thought of that...when my dh is feeing jealous I

will have to tell him that one...I am sure he hasn't thought of that

either! I am so excited that we are waiting, I can't wait to hear

the dr make the announcement, I know the head will probably just be

coming out and I will be asking, driving the dr nuts!
