Guest guest
Do you mean that all Magic Shell flavors aren't GF or that just the Twix Magic Shell isn't GF. Guest guest
I'm honestly not sure. I took it as we couldn't have any magic shell and we also couldn't have the twix magic shell. Not sure though. I honestly didn't even look at the ingredients when I bought the caramel and hot fudge! Sorry Cari Dorsey wrote: Do you mean that all Magic Shell flavors aren't GF or that just the Twix Magic Shell isn't GF.Thanks,Cari>>Reply-To: SillyYaks >To: SillyYaks >Subject: Re: Smuckers Toppings Caramel Flavored>Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2005 14:14:07 -0700 (PDT)>>Yes it is. Guest guest
You guys got me curious, so I went to the cubbard and found 4 bottles of the stuff (must have been on sale or something ). The label lists sugar, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, whole milk solids, cocoa processed with alkali, soy lecithin, salt and vanilla. The milk and soy words are bolded, so it looks like they are identifying allergens that way. Appears OK, and with the bolding of allergens I would look at this as a " good " label and trust that there isn't wheat in it, and there aren't any catch-alls where malt would be hiding. Guest guest
My husband just brought home a thing of Magic Shell a few nights ago. We haven't had it in years. The ingredients looked fine. Soy was in bold and no one reacted to it. I had read that Magic Shell was ok, but not Twix Magic Shell. Guest guest
When I called Smuckers last week, I was inquiring about the GF status of the carmel topping (which was GF). The customer service rep took it one step farther and clarified that all Smuckers products with the exception of Uncrustables and Magic Shell (twix flavor only) were GF. Hope this helps. Guest guest
That has been my understanding also. That all Smuckers products were GF, except Crustables and Magic Shell Twix Flavor. All other Magic Shells flavors are GF. Thanks, Cari >From: lucky3668@... >Reply-To: SillyYaks >To: SillyYaks >Subject: RE: Re: Smuckers Toppings Caramel Flavored >Date: Fri, 17 Jun 2005 09:24:24 -0600 > >When I called Smuckers last week, I was inquiring about the GF status of >the carmel topping (which was GF).
