He is scum and he has connections that I can't fight. My lawyer changed her mind after she talked to s lawyer, I just wonder what the deal was. I had proof of fraud and no tax forms were used, it was a joke. He is paying me 1200.00 a month and 99.00 for child support. He lives by taking cash out of the business. We made 80,000.00 a year until I asked for a divorce. Allyson's disability was deducted as my income and her medical insurance was deducted from the child support. claimed he was only making 4,000.00 a month he has been paying the house payment, medical insurance, and giving me 1000.00 a month which adds up to about 3,150.00. After taxes just what do they think he is living on. He weighs about 325lbs (5'7 " ) he isn't starving. I will receive 45,000.00 at the end of February, I must pay taxes, lawyer bills, other bills and I hope there will be enough left over to make a good down payment on a used van. Maybe I will paint it with flowers and just travel. I missed out on the hippy thing because I was working to pay for his Alfa (sports car) (I didn't drive until I was 32) and his brand new Ocean going cruiser and all the insurances, mooring charges and up keep. Oh there was that year and a half he took off because he was fired. My parents died and I sold my beach front property (given to me by my grand mother) and the inheritance from my parents to start this business and cover the bills until we made enough to start taking a salary. I did the bookkeeping for free usually at night. I kept very good books and they would come out to the penny. Well I am sharing too much and venting. He told me I did nothing for 31 years and I am getting more than I disserve. All I can say is that I am glad to be rid of him and his cruelty. I will now try to go forward (very slowly) and Allyson and I will do the best we can with what we have. Thanks to everyone that has been so kind to me and all the prayers. Your settlement doesn't sound too bad. Come on out to Iowa, dear. In my neck of the woods, you can live decently on your settlement. You WILL be okay, and everything will work out for you. If left alone his estate would gone into probate. I know what went on and I got the judge to force to clean things up legally. Also was going to force his step mother out of her home to get my half. I just couldn't do that and now he can't do it ether. I know I paid for other peoples legal fees but I tied up the lose ends. is always trying to mess up peoples lives and now there are some he can't. At leased I know I wasn't part of his evil. I can die knowing I did the best I could and the kids will get what is theirs. I have had some bad falls. Allyson had to come home from school today to help me get up. Everyone one was talking about diets and weight and I tried to get on the scales. Well you know what happened? I fell backwards hitting the back of my head on the toilet. There was blood and I couldn't find where it was coming from, as I was trying to get my head out between the wall and the toilet. The blood was coming from my arm. It was a small cut but it sure made a mess. I am sure glad Allyson was at lunch and had her cell phone was on. A nice young man brought her home to help her mother.
