Twenty one months ago.. I was a miserable woman who weighed 392 pounds. I

wasnt able to go out because I had severe shortness of breath, chest pains

when I walked, high blood pressure, diabetes, pain in my knees and feet ,

and a very poor self image. I also felt that everyone was staring at the fat

lady and wondering why I would even think about going out in public looking

the way I did.. One of my doctors suggested I consider bariatric surgery to

lose weight, so I started researching on the internet and decided to make an

appt for a consultation.. best decision I ever made.

Twenty one months later.. and a long and ardous journey.. I experienced

many complications, setbacks, and survived two additonal surgeries.. I am 47

pounds away from my personal goal weight of 140. I am enjoying life to its

fullest, I have returned to work, been to an amusement park, can fit into a

size 14 easily and even into some size 12/s. I have much more self confidence

and enjoy being out in public now. I am way more vocal and will give you my

opinion whether asked or not most days.. Life after weight loss is so much

better..

To all your preops.. keep the chin up and keep fighting those insurance

companies for your life and health. To all you posties.. life only gets

better and better.. I am living proof.. I should have my pics updated to the

site later today or tomorrow.. thanks to from TN.. she is such a doll..

Take care

Hugs,

from GA
