Guest guest
I am tentatively scheduled for an ablation the second week of Feb. I have atrial flutter and my EP says they have a very good chance of eliminating the flutter (85 to 90% chance) so it is a good thing to try given my age (34) and health (good health). He said I can go off the Coumadin and beta blocker but will want me to take a baby aspirin per day for the rest of my life which I can def. handle. I was a little apprehensive about going through with but reading about the procedure, the success rates and stories from people here made me really want to get it done and over with. I did tell him that if it doesn't work I'll likely just stay on the beta blocker for a while because I've literally had NO symptoms for two months since I've been on it. Just think - a month from now I'll be drug free and hopefully flutter free!
