I'm over a year post op, my symptoms aren't the headaches or stiffness. (what is prompting the Lupus search) Autoimmune diseases are on both sides of my family. We've got MS on both sides of my family and rheumatoid arthritis on both sides. I have a positive ANA and C reactive protein. I've also been sick since my decompression surgery. Colds and flus seem to hover around me all the time. The longest I've gone without having a cold since my surgery is 5 days. These symtoms are nothing like my chiari symptoms that i've had my whole life. I know which one those are lol. I had a blood clot in September of this year, I've been anemic for several years, and get sores on the inside of my mouth all the time. I don't think those are chiari related. That's why they are checking for Lupus. Sorry for not giving all the details.
