Never heard before but sounds VERY promising. Do you have any further

info or links, especially how it is done, where, how complicated, how

expensive etc.

Nothing regarding autism...yet. They have been using this with

stroke victims, severe depression and other disorders. From what I

gathered they are getting better at pin pointing the parts of the

brain the need to be altered with TMS. I think clinical trials are

starting but it will be seveal months for any results. I emailed

the doctor doing this study and he was nice enough to write me

back.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I was afraid to even get my son an MRI. What if the magnets react with heavy

metals in the brain and cause them to move, causing further damage? Or am I

crazy--I know all metals do not react to magnets.

Anyone looked into Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for their ASD

child? I guess this is the next promising therapy and soon to be

clinical trials done.
