Guest guest
Hi, y'all J In some of my research/websurfing, I came across a resource of pain treatment/mgmt centers. Some of the mito- and our-kids have pain problems.. I wanted to share this. One of the greatest effects of pain, acute and chronic, is that the person is often not believed, told it's " all in their head " , life would be better if they weren't sick and tired of the time... whew. Peace be with you. Love, , Staci, & , middle aged, dx Bipolar type II hypomanic, probable mito. Staci, almost 7, multiple mito dx , " highly involved " , bestest smiler! , ageless, wonderfully, blessedly supportive hubsydaddy. For a directory of adult pain centers, the American Pain Society has a listing. Here are some of the pediatric centers: Boston Children's Yale Children's Columbia Babies and Children's in NY Hackensack Med Ctr/ Tomorrow's Children's Institute Children's of Philadelphia s Hopkins Duke Cincinnati Children's Children's Memorial in Chicago Wisconsin Children's in Milwaukee Mayo Clinic (just starting up) St. Louis Children's St. Jude's Children's of New Orleans Miami Children's All Children's in St. sburg-Clearwater Fort Worth Children's U of Texas San UCLA Packard/Stanford Seattle Children's Portland Children's Denver Children's Primary Childen's in Salt Lake That should give some coverage. There are others, and if you have a specific problem and a specific geographical area, I can give more detail.
