I found a definition for equinus: abnormal position of flexion and used in

combining form with other words to denote anatomic location - ankle equinus,

forefoot equinus, metatarsus equinus.

Hope this helps,

I have this book called " A Manual of Orthopaedic Terminology " by Carolyn

Taliaferro Blauvelt and Fred R. T. , fifth edition. I used to do some

physical therapy transcription and thought this would help me out. Got it for

about 5 bucks on eBay.

Thank you. Where did you find these?
