Guest guest
PH, This is so interesting as most of my problems are on the right side, the yang side which relates to external fears and not nuturing creativity. I like learning about this kind of energy within the body. A book I love that introduced me to this is " Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom " . I had an older edition that didn't say much about implants, but I will pick up the new one and see what is metioned. Guest guest
PH- Thank you for sharing this book with us. I am going to go get it! I think it would be a really beneficial read. Guest guest
Hi Katy, I know which book you're talking about. Shortly before I was ill I saw it in the bookstore and couldn't put it down. I would have bought it if I hadn't read 3/4 of it while I was there! Interesting that your problems seem to be on your right side. According to Louise Hay, issues with the right side of the body means "Giving out, letting go, masculine energy, possibly problems with men, the father." Her new thought pattern to heal is "I balance my masculine energy easily and effortlessly." To help with the imbalances, my cranio sacral therapist recommends that I do a cross-over exercise to balance my left and right. Examples would be touching your right hand on your left knee and then your left hand on your right knee and going faster and faster. Or, if you do crunches, you can do the bicycle alternating your elbows to your knees. I need to be more consistent in doing those because she said it will help eliminate the brain fog and retrain the brain to communicate between left and right side. I like learning about all this energy stuff too. I always thought it was interesting but didn't put a whole lot of stock into until now that my energy has dwindled. I've noticed that my energy is greatly depleted now if I talk on the cell phone or am around negative people. I can no longer tolerate what I used to. - PH > > > Hi All,> > >> > > Last week during my craniosacral therapy session,> > my therapist> > > recommended the book "You Can Heal Your Life" by> > Louise L. Guest guest
PH, Thank you for the insights! I definitely have problems right now with men (in the process of moving out from my boyfriend) and masculine type things such as finance and struggling to get through the day. I will have to do more research and reading. I believe these affirmations can help us so much while we are healing. Have you heard about 'tapping'?? It is a balancing excercise that I am learning about. It is good for centering the body and controlling headaches and anxiety. It sounds similar to the cross over excercises that your craniosacral therapist suggests. Guest guest
Hi Katy, It is interesting the way our relationships can affect our body and our health. The left side indicates possible problems with females and I unfortunately have had a tumultuous relationship with my mom (we love each other dearly but just have trouble getting close to one another). Looking back, my best friends have usually been guys because I feel they accept me fully 100% without judgment. I have girlfriends too but I tend to put up a wall for fear of getting hurt...I know I'm rambling...I've been doing a lot of thinking since this illness. Anyway, is tapping the same as emotional freedom technique? My chiropractor tapped on my head repeatedly while I said " I have a strong body and I will fully recover. " I felt so good leaving that day. Do you do the tapping yourself? - PH > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > > > > > Last week during my craniosacral therapy > > session, > > > > my therapist > > > > > recommended the book " You Can Heal Your Life " > > by > > > > Louise L. Guest guest
PH, I think the tapping technique is the same as the emotional freedom technique. I will have to find the info my friend gave me on it. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounded very interesting. I am exactly opposite of what you described with your relationships. So interesting!! I have almost exclusively female friends, was raised entirely by women and have had no father figure and many difficult relationships with men. I guess that makes sense for my right side to be the problem side. I have begun writing a list of all of the factors in my life that could be creating illness in my body, so that I can examine them a little closer. I am convinced that besides having my implants removed, I can heal many of my ailments naturally and through healing myself emotionally. Guest guest
Hi Katy, You're right...we are opposites when it comes to relationships! You're lucky to have so many supportive women in your life. It's interesting to discover the ways in which we may change from this illness though. I think I am slowly letting my defenses down. The things that used to scare me no longer do...I now worry about bigger, health-related things. I too, have been thinking about all the things that may have contributed to this illness as far as relationships, stress, toxins, negative thoughts, energy, etc. I wonder if any illness causes such deep reflection or if this is more prevalent with women with implants. I know that I have been really thinking about why I chose to have implants in the first place and why I didn't feel good enough the way I was. Even though I portrayed a very outgoing, confident person, I realize deep down I even fooled myself. I was more than good enoough to begin with and implants were NEVER necessary. So, like you, I am trying to heal myself emotionally as well. We'll both get there and be all the better for it! Take care. - PH > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi PH, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I attended a seminar where she spoke in > > Dallas > > > === message truncated === > > > > Get a sneak peak at messages with a handy reading pane with All new : http://mrd.mail./try_beta?.intl=ca >
