The Richfood brand at Shoppers Food Warehouse has a chicken broth that I am using. I read the ingredients and cannot see where there would gluten in it and I have been using it a few months in cooking rice pilaf. I have not had a problem with it. I guess to be 100% sure, I should contact them, too.

I just got off the phone with 's soup and was investigating

the " possibility " of a Chunky canned soup being gluten-free. The

's Chunky Chicken Rice with Chicken & Sausage Gumbo is NOT

GLUTEN-FREE. Upon first look, this soup may appear to be safe, but

there are two questionable ingredients on this can.... modified food

starch and maltodextrin. Upon callling 's, they confirmed

that this product is NOT gluten-free. However, the rep was unable

to tell me which of the ingredients contained gluten. Currently

there are only two campbell's soups that are GF. (one is some sort

of Lentil soup and the other is a cheese/broccoli soup of some

sort). For now, I'll stick so some of my homemade concoctions, a

few Progresso canned soups, and a few of the lipton's dry soup

mixes. (there are also a few manichewitz soups that are okay).

's " Chicken Broccoli Cheese " Chunky Soup is GF. It is on their

Gluten-Free Product list that I received in the mail so I bought a can and

then called them again to verify. We are very sensitive celiacs and none of

us had a reaction. We have had several cans over the last few weeks. It is

nice to have a simple, fast lunch to serve or an easy side dish for dinner.

The soup is quite good.
