That's a really great way of describing me, actually. > She is really good-natured, > totally able to laugh at herself, as well as AT me. Not so much AT you, but at my own AWE of you! People, my 'NT twin' may be very similar to me inside the depths of her head, but in person she is my utter opposite. She is SO sure of herself and SO together, and if her environment doesn't please her she makes sure it's changed. A little later, after I drop at school, I will tell you a little story about Grace and her quest for drinkable coffee... is VERY quiet, > which was the opposite of what I expected from her e-mails. I have one word about BJ -- CHARMING. > Hey Jacquie - thanks again for that coffee. It saved my LIFE. You'll all hear about that one. ;-) Just know that after her coffee quest, when she said that I jumped up and down flapping my hands in my best ASD interpretation of joy. Tamara --- what did Terry think of your makeover? Yes, what?? (Terry, who I spoke to on the phone maybe more than Tamara did (since I was often in the room), is utterly adorable and sweet.) > - - - - I hope your car got you home? Must have! > And BJ - - - - - <raising hand again> Yes, huh???????????????? Aw, you know you love us! Jacquie

And you're saying this is abnormal? Every time I go to the mall I go a different way. I'm on way number 8 right now. I guess it might be easy if the roads where all straight but as they all turn and change names in the middle it can be confusing LOL Glad you didn't get lost though G

Guest guest
I am so glad you all had a good time. I wish I could have been there. Maybe next time. Tuna Home Sweet Home Hi guys- just wanted to drop a note to say I am home at last, and glad to be here. I almost cried when I heard the pilot announce " San Francisco, California " ..... THAT is how desperate I was to get out of Pennsylvania!!!! (or Wilkes-Barre, actually.....and it WAS in the middle of freaking nowhere as expected)! I've decided that I love California. LOL. Anyhow, the conference in itself was amazing, and meeting Tamara and Jacquie was simply fabulous. I really enjoyed my time with them, and while we hardly did any of the partying we expected, we did kick back and enjoy our kid-free time, in my opinion anyhow. Tamara attended all of her sessions... I attended almost all of them, and Jacquie skipped most everything. ;o) Both Tamara and Jacquie think I am strange, and I maintain that THEY are weird. Bizarre, I tell you. But in a lovable kind of way... sorta endearing..... well, still weird. LOLOL!! I really, really liked them, and miss them even right now, despite their being weird. As I was fully warned, I did not hug Jacquie or Tamara upon seeing them. Just smiled and said hello. However, when we all parted, I did get to hug them both, so I assume I have become safe territory? Then Friday came along so quickly. Before we knew it, and BJ were in town. We all went to Olive Garden for dinner, and then hung around talking. I almost wet my pants laughing at and with those two. In their own ways, they are hilarious. Ask BJ about her mother... the jacuzzi.... and social security payments LMAO!! And ... well, she had the 411 on everyone, hee hee..... In conclusion, while I did seem to scare the living daylights out of all of them - - *I* had a great time. It was a whole lot of fun, and it was really nice to get to know the true person behind the e-mails. Tamara is about 100 times nuttier in person, and hilarious in person. She seemed so subdued in her e-mails; don't let it fool ya LOL. Jacquie makes herself out to be a complete antisocial freak in her e-mails. She is actually QUITE the social one.......... very friendly, quite forward, but in a strangely introverted way, if that makes any sense. She is really good-natured, totally able to laugh at herself, as well as AT me. is VERY quiet, which was the opposite of what I expected from her e-mails. I think she was expecting me to be like Gidget or something! However little she said, the things she did say were so funny! And BJ..... well, she just cracked me up. She is about as friendly as can be, and really so pretty, but has such a low, low, low opinion of herself. I think I laughed every time she said something with her North Carolina drawl!!! She's the type of girl anyone would like, immediately. As you can see, I was really tickled to meet everyone. But 5 days in Wilkes-Barre was ENOUGH. I was seriously never happier to be back in California. Initially, I didn't want to leave. But once I started driving back to Philly for 2.5 hours, I was getting progressively more desperate to be back in Cali. Once here, I could not stop touching Shaun, touching the car, touching my floors, hugging my parents, kissing my kids, breathing California air, etc when I got home. It bordered on excessive, obsessive! Everyone was fine, and life had gone on as usual while I was gone. But I am glad to be back. My parents are still here, but Shaun left for NY this morning..... and will be gone for 2 weeks. I am still on no mail, but should be back to mail in a couple of days....... Need to go to sleep!!!! Hey Jacquie - thanks again for that coffee. It saved my LIFE. Tamara - what did Terry think of your makeover? - - - - I hope your car got you home? And BJ - - - - - <raising hand again> Yes, huh???????????????? Grace
