Heading for a SEVERE FLARE

I have been watching my 6month old granddaughter for the weekend so my

daughter/son-in-law/7yr granddaughter could go to universal studios in

Orlando and ride roller coasters. I think this will be the last time I

will ever be able to do this. I maybe able to watch them for a couple

of hours at a time but never over night again and that make me very

sad. I know I am headed for a severe flare because I am already in so

much pain and so weak I don't know how I will make it till tomorrow

afternoon. I have to go for a bladder ultrasound on Monday AM and I

know i will be in bed for the rest of the week probably. I HATE THIS

DISEASE. My grandchildren bring me great joy and to not be able to play

with them just kills me. I don't want to be the grandmother that

couldn't play or couldn't do this or that. Damn't kick a rock anyway!

Well the baby back to sleep now so I'm going too. Goodnight for now

Oh, I so relate to your situation! I have 3 grandbabies, and for the

last 5 wks. my 8yr. old granddaughter has had to finish summer school

for math. My daughter was in such a delema(spelling...sorry!). She

needed someone to take to school on Monday's and watch her until

she got home from work. Since I'm off on Monday and Tuesday I

volunteered. She lives over 2 hrs. from me. I have been working all

day sunday then going to her house and spending the night, then

getting up at 6am and taking to school then going back to pick

her up after school then staying till gets home from work then

driving the 2 hrs back home on Monday's. Then only having Tuesday's to

try and rest up for the work week ahead. It has just about killed me!!

Thank God this was the last week for summer school! Now I'll need

weeks to recover from all of this and try to work full time WITHOUT

calling off work once again for exhaustion.
