We are just getting home from signing a contract on our first house- in Illinios an infertility mandated state! Our tenative closing date is set for May 13. I am so excited, I just had to share! We are moving to Cahokia IL Which is about 10 minutes from where we live now, in St. Louis MO City. My dh is going to apply for a job in IL this week too, so I know that if I do not get pg this cycle we will be able to do treatment again very soon What can I say except it deffinately feels like my luck is changing! This will be the year I get pg for a long nine months, I can feel it! And I am not saying this to be nasty at all ,just to put it into perspective for you overdue girls- I have been trying for 5 long years to have a baby- and I don't have any. Guest guest Posted April 9, 2001 Report Share Posted April 9, 2001 , A infertility mandated state is one where the employers are required by law to cover infertility in their insurance.There are loopholes and some states are not as covered as others but we know the rules with IL and we also know they cover several IVF's. You have to live and work there but that is just a matter of time. We have been trying 5 years but not all 5 with treatment b.c we haven;t had the money or insurance. I agree, this will be the year for you, just hang in there. No offense taken to your reminder sweetie. You are very right. Joleen and I are both very blessed to be waiting for our second children and sometimes we need to remember that instead of being impatient!
