Guest guest
I can't figure out if she is saying " a cidicosis " as two words or as one word. Not much to go on either. The patient went to the ER becuase of the blood in her stool and they took an x-ray as part of the eval. The only other thing of importance may be that they placed her on doxycycline and she was recnetly in Cyprus, so I guess it is some time of bacterial infection? Here is what is dictated: She was found to have s/l aciticosis by chest x-ray. Belinda feel free to email me! kbmjoyce@... EarthLink: It's your Internet. Guest guest
How about coccidiosis (a pathogenic condition resulting from infestation with coccidia)? There is also coccidioidomycosis (also known as San Joaquin valley fever; infection with the pathogenic fungus, Coccidioides immitis, a spore-forming pathogen found in the soil and spores from the fungus circulate in the air when the soil is disturbed, such as during construction, dust storms, or earthquakes). Hope this helps! I found them in Taber's. s/l acidicosis I can't figure out if she is saying " a cidicosis " as two words or as one word. Not much to go on either.
